ISLAMABAD: PTI founder Imran Khan has approached the Islamabad High Court not to hand himself over to military custody for military court trial in May 9 cases.
A petition was filed in the Islamabad High Court by lawyer Uzair Karamat Bhandari, in which the Secretary Law, Secretary Interior and the Federation have been made parties to the petition.
IG Islamabad, IG Punjab, DG FIA and IG Jails have also been made parties to the petition.
The petition requested that founder PTI be stopped from being handed over to military custody, ensure that founder PTI remains in civilian courts and civilian custody.
