Mumbai: Renowned Punjabi singer AP Dhillon has slammed claims that tickets are “sold out” within seconds at Indian concerts.
Speaking on The Ranveer Show, he termed the ticketing tactics as unfair and tantamount to abuse of fans.
AP Dhillon said: “To say that the tickets of the show were sold out in 15 seconds is completely wrong. Actually, it is all a marketing game.”
He revealed that most of the tickets are sold in advance to the promoters, after which the fans have to buy them at high prices.
He added: “We felt that we should also join this game, but then we thought how can we cheat our fans like this.”
During the discussion, AP Dhillon revealed that he has been blocked by singer Diljit Dosanjh on Instagram.
According to some social media users, AP Dhillon has hurt Diljit Dosanjh by calling the ticket sales process a fraud because tickets for his concerts sell out quickly.
