Another Indian soldier ended his life in Occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, when the Indian Border Force officer posted in Jammu region did not report for duty, his fellow officers went to his room.
The Indian Border Force officer’s room was locked from inside. When fellow officials broke the door and entered, the body of 33-year-old Nitish Kumar was found hanging from the fan.
The suicidal officer was taken to hospital where he was confirmed dead. The body was sent to the native Punjab after necessary operations.
The reason for suicide has not yet been revealed. Kashmir Police registered a case and started investigation, but no result of any such inquiry committee has ever come out.
It should be remembered that incidents of Indian soldiers committing suicide due to mental stress and low morale are common in Occupied Kashmir. Misbehavior by superior officers and sexual harassment of female officers is also a reason.
