LAHORE: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) is conducting operations against drug peddlers around educational institutions.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, 5 suspects including a woman were arrested in various operations during the last 24 hours. A kilo of heroin and 200 grams of hashish were recovered from a female drug dealer near a major university in Islamabad. 495 grams of hashish was recovered from the accused who was arrested near the university in Multan. The accused confessed to supplying drugs to students of educational institutions.
In other operations, 550 grams of hashish was recovered from the possession of the accused at Al Faisal Bus Stand in Kohat, while 1 kg of 200 grams of ice was recovered from 2 accused near Toonmi Mor Dera Ghazi Khan. Investigation has been started by registering cases against the arrested accused under the Anti Narcotics Act.
