Cyber experts have identified Android apps that are capable of stealing users’ passwords.
Most applications ask users for their Google, Facebook or other account information to activate. Sometimes providing this information is necessary to use the application, while other times it is a trick of fraudsters to trick users.
A recent report revealed that there are several applications that have been downloaded by users and are not only stealing users’ private data, but also their Facebook passwords and cryptographic data. .
Trend Micro, a cyber security company, has released a list of over 200 applications on the Play Store that contain ‘face stealers’. Face Stealer Android contains a type of spyware.
