Karachi: Belgian tennis star Alyssa Martinez won the ninth career singles trophy.
She defeated American opponent Anne Li in straight sets 1-6 and 4-6 in the final of the Singapore Women’s Tennis Event.
Alyssa previously won the trophy at the Munster Open in October 2023. She has won 7 of her 9 career singles titles on hard courts.
Earlier, the doubles trophy of the Singapore event was won by American Desiree Kravisek and Mexican player Guillena Olmos, who defeated third seeds Wang Dingyu and Ding Tsai Tsai in the final.
