In the case against the alleged rigging in 3 constituencies of Islamabad, the Election Tribunal has again called for affidavits from the successful candidates of Muslim League-N.

The lawyer said that adjournment cannot be granted for more than three days, on which the tribunal directed the lawyer to read Rule 144 of the Election Act. Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said that the trial is to be conducted on a daily basis and a decision is to be taken within 180 days, according to which the parties are bound to file their reply within seven days.
The tribunal directed to read what is section 147, according to which the affidavit has to be filed along with the reply. If anyone has objections, let me know.
The lawyer said that we have an objection, on which the tribunal inquired, on whose behalf are you? The lawyer said that I will appear on behalf of Dakar Tariq Fazal Chaudhry. The tribunal said that your lawyer’s letter has not been submitted, so they cannot talk, they will hear these cases on a daily basis, according to the law, if anyone asks for adjournment even within seven days, there will be a fine of 100,000.
The tribunal inquired if there is any injunction, then tell me, the order of the Election Commission is suspended, if it is restored, then we will stop the proceedings.

The Election Tribunal inquired whether the RO and the Election Commission have received a reply. You have also submitted all the forms. Lawyer Anjum Aqeel Khan said that we have submitted everything. The Election Tribunal said that the three petitions will be heard daily but each constituency will be heard separately.
On behalf of Raja Khurram Nawaz, Raja Faisal Younis Advocate appeared before the Election Tribunal.
Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri said that when the tribunal was functional you had to implement the order. Lawyer Raja Faisal Younis said that the reply was not submitted due to non-functionality of the tribunal, so far nothing has been submitted on their behalf. Lawyer Ali Bukhari said that he cannot be given an opportunity to submit a reply at this time.
The tribunal ordered Raja Khurram Nawaz to submit the complete answer including Form 45 and 47 while imposing a fine of 20 thousand rupees on Raja Khurram Nawaz for not submitting the answer on time. The tribunal ordered that the fine be deposited within three days.
Vakil Election Commission said that the RO has deposited a fine of Rs 15,000. First, let’s see if it can be heard because 50% of the election petitions have been rejected in Lahore.
Dakar Tariq Fazal Chaudhry’s lawyer Sardar Taimur withdrew the lawyer’s letter. Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri remarked that you cannot present your arguments unless you submit the affidavit.
The tribunal also imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Dakar Tariq Fazal Chaudhry for not submitting the answer and ordered him to submit the answer by the day after tomorrow.
Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said that a lawyer should be hired, there is a lot of records, so time should be given to submit the answer. Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri said that if the court orders are not implemented at the next hearing, membership will be suspended under the Election Act.
The Election Tribunal of Islamabad adjourned the hearing of Constituency NA-48 to July 9, the hearing of Constituency NA-47 to July 10 and the hearing of Constituency NA-46 to July 11 in the case against alleged rigging.
