MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Diljit Dosanjh’s globally successful ‘Dil-Luminati’ tour has now reached India, where the fans have seen immense excitement.
According to Indian media, tickets for the shows in Delhi sold out in just two minutes, showing how eagerly awaited Diljit’s concerts were.
Gold Category (Phase 3) tickets were available at Rs 12,999 while Fan Pit tickets were available at Rs 19,999 when the ticket sales started on Thursday, which were sold out immediately. Among other cities, the cheapest tickets were for the Silver (Phase 1) category in Hyderabad, which was available at Rs 3,299.
Speaking to NDTV, Janamjay Sehgal, business head of Sare Gamma India said, “So far we have sold 1.5 lakh tickets, and we are expecting 2 lakh people to attend. A grand setup is being prepared for the Delhi show, which has never been seen before in India.”
Diljit’s India tour will begin on October 26, with performances in cities like Chandigarh, Guwahati, Pune, Indore, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Lucknow, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad besides Delhi.
