The District and Sessions Court, Islamabad, ordered to arrest and produce the accused Ali Amin Gandapur (Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) for his continuous non-appearance in the illegal arms and liquor recovery case.
Judicial Magistrate Mubashir Hassan Chishti of the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad heard the illegal arms and liquor recovery case.
During the hearing, the investigation officer of the case did not appear in the court.
Raja Zahoor-ul-Hassan Advocate, the lawyer of Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, could also not appear in the court.
The court expressed its anger and remarked that neither the accused nor the lawyer appeared, continuous non-appearance is unacceptable.
The learned judge ordered the SSP Operations to arrest and produce the accused and adjourned the further hearing of the case till January 21.
It should be remembered that Ali Amin Gandapur has also been declared a proclaimed offender by the trial court in this case, however, the district court later declared the order declaring the accused as proclaimed offender null and void.
