Islamabad: After Toyota, Pak Suzuki also started exporting vehicles.
Pak Suzuki has started exporting vehicles to Bangladesh and Afghanistan with the facilitation of SIFC. Suzuki CEO Hiroshi Kawamura announced at the inauguration of the Suzuki Vendor Cluster Area that the company has started exporting vehicles to Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Pak Suzuki has been exporting vehicles and auto parts to Japan since 1997, including software and motorcycle spare parts.
Speaking at the event, Industries and Production Minister Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the initiative aims to expand Pak Suzuki’s network of local suppliers and increase efficiency and reduce costs through local supply chain management.
Pak Suzuki also celebrated its 2.5 million vehicle production in Pakistan and attributed the milestone to employee dedication, SIFC Kawasho and favorable government policies and customer confidence. Government officials present at the event appreciated Pak Suzuki’s contribution to Pakistan’s automotive sector
It should be remembered that the export of Toyota vehicles manufactured in Pakistan has also been started, in this regard a special ceremony was held at the plant of Indus Motors Company last week.
