Begum Noreen Sami Khan, the mother of singer Adnan Sami, who moved from Pakistan to India and got citizenship there, died at the age of 77.
Adnan Sami announced the death of his mother on Instagram and said that it is with great sadness that I announce the death of my beloved mother Begum Noreen Sami Khan.
“We are deeply saddened and shocked,” he said. We will miss him dearly, please pray for the repose of his soul.
It is not for God and it is to Him that we return.
Adnan Sami prayed that Allah Almighty grant our dear mother a place in Paradise, Ameen.
Sami also shared a picture of his mother on social media, which lists her date of birth as 1947.
It should be noted that Adnan Sami got Indian citizenship in 2015, he lived in India for many years before getting citizenship.
