Karachi: United Nations children’s welfare organization UNICEF has appointed Pakistani actress Saba Qamar as the country’s first national children’s ambassador.
In her Instagram post, Saba Qamar shared pictures of the moments she spent with the children and wrote, “Met some of the most amazing people this week and had some wonderful experiences. There are so many stories to share! More soon!”
Saba Qamar reiterated his determination to continue working for the welfare of children from the platform of UNICEF and thanked the international organization.
It should be noted that UNICEF has appointed a national ambassador for the welfare of children for the first time in Pakistan.
As a child welfare ambassador, Saba Qamar will bring children’s issues to the fore under UNICEF in various platforms at national and global level.
Saba Qamar has been raising her voice against violence and exploitation of children and women in her social media posts and plays.
