Acting Chief Justice Shujaat Ali reached Lahore High Court without protocol, Justice Shujaat Ali Khan refused to take the guard of honour.
Acting Chief Justice Lahore High Court Justice Shujaat Ali Khan while talking informally to the media on the occasion of his arrival at the Lahore High Court said that justice will be provided to the prisoners in a timely manner.
He further said that according to the vision of Supreme Court Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah, he will use modern technology, the senior most judge of the Supreme Court will move forward according to the vision of Justice Syed Mansoor Ali Shah.
It should be noted that Justice Shujaat Ali Khan has taken the oath of office as Acting Chief Justice of Lahore High Court. The swearing-in ceremony of the post of Chief Justice was held at Governor House Lahore, Governor Punjab Sardar Saleem Haider Khan administered the oath of office to the Acting Chief Justice.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz along with provincial ministers participated in the ceremony, Lahore High Court judges Justice Ali Baqir Najafi, Justice Alia Neelam, Justice Abid Aziz Sheikh, Justice Syed Shahbaz Rizvi and Justice Shahram Sarwar also participated in the swearing-in ceremony.
