A slight increase in the weekly inflation rate in the country

ISLAMABAD: The weekly inflation rate in the country has increased slightly again, the inflation rate increased by 0.05 percent in the recent week, while the annualized inflation rate in the recent week was 12.80 percent. Most affected.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, in the recent week, the prices of 16 essential items of daily use increased and the prices of 9 essential items decreased, while the prices of 26 items remained stable.

According to the report, during the recent week, the prices of tomatoes increased by 5.78%, the prices of onions by 5.49%, the prices of lentils by 1.01%, the prices of potatoes by 0.94%, the prices of gourd by 0.82%, firewood LPG prices have increased by 0.64%, LPG prices by 0.15%.

Similarly, fresh milk prices increased by 0.26 percent and curd prices by 0.32 percent, while dal mash prices increased by 1.80 percent, dal mung prices by 1.35 percent, sugar prices by 1.30 percent, bananas. The prices of rice have increased by 1.27%, the prices of pulses have increased by 0.93% while the prices of flour have increased by 0.66%.

Apart from these, the prices of eggs decreased by 0.28 percent and the prices of cooking oil by 0.18 percent.

According to the statistics, the inflation rate for the group having income up to 17 thousand 732 rupees per month on an annual basis during the recent week increased by 0.08 percent to 9.20 percent, from 17 thousand 733 rupees to 22 thousand 888 rupees per month. The rate of inflation for the income group is 13.22% with an increase of 0.07%, from 22 thousand 889 rupees to 29 thousand 517 rupees per month. The rate of inflation for the group having monthly income was 13.14% with an increase of 0.05%, while the rate of inflation for the group having income more than 44 thousand 176 rupees per month was 11.09% with an increase of 0.04%.
