Islamabad: The Election Commission has convened an official meeting on July 18 to discuss and implement the decision of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The meeting will be held on Thursday at 11 am in the office of the Election Commission, in which the Secretary Election Commission, Heads of Elections and Legal Wings will give a briefing to the Election Commission.
In the meeting, various aspects of its implementation will be considered in the light of the order of the Supreme Court.
It should be noted that the Supreme Court annulled the decision of the Peshawar High Court and Election Commission and ordered to give specific seats to PTI. The Supreme Court also declared Tehreek-e-Insaf as a party in Parliament and Provincial Assemblies.
On the other hand, the Muslim League-N has also filed a review petition in the Supreme Court on the issue of giving specific seats to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
