A new study warns that spending too much time sitting, lying down, or lying down can increase the risk of heart disease and early death, even if you get regular exercise.
According to the researchers, sitting for more than 10 and a half hours a day can lead to future heart failure and heart disease-related death, even in people who exercise regularly.
Dr. Shan Khurshid, a cardiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, said that our results emphasize minimizing sitting time to reduce heart risk.
He said that these results indicate a possible threshold of 10.6 hours a day for heart failure and heart disease-related deaths. Furthermore, sitting or lying down too much is harmful to heart health, even for people who do physical activity.
