ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman thanked the Supreme Court and the Parliament for accepting the review petition of the Mubarak Sani case by the Supreme Court on Friday. Thanksgiving was announced.
JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman said in a press conference that August 23 will be celebrated as a day of thanksgiving on Friday in the entire country. On September 7, 1974, the National Assembly of Pakistan declared the Qadianis and Lahoris as a minority through a unanimous resolution and amendment. The entire nation is celebrating 50 years of Golden Jubilee at Minar Pakistan Lahore on 7 September 2024.
He said that this day will be celebrated on Victory Day. And his decision has further enhanced the significance of the Golden Jubilee. Now the people of Pakistan will participate in it with a different spirit and a fresh vision of victory.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the Supreme Court has announced the final decision of the Mubarak Sani case. The Supreme Court struck down all objectionable clauses. Religious parties convinced the Supreme Court regarding the decision. No power in the world will be able to make any conspiracy against the belief of end of Prophethood, nor will their conspiracy work. This is the unanimous voice of the Ummah and the entire nation. We recognize their human rights. But it is important that they accept the Constitution of Pakistan and the decision of the Constitution.
The JUI chief said that if any other citizen in any part of the world rebels against the constitution of his country and does not recognize the constitution. So his civil and human rights are lost.
He said that once again I thank the Supreme Court and the Parliament that this subject was discussed in the Parliament. The government and the opposition were also on the same page and there was no difference of opinion. The religious parties have always expressed their solidarity on this and have shown it even today. I congratulate the Muslim Ummah, nation and religious parties on their success.
