Mumbai: Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan has joined Shah Rukh Khan in the action thriller film ‘King’.
According to Indian media sources, Abhishek Bachchan will play the role of villain opposite Shahrukh Khan in the film and the details about his role have not been revealed yet.
Abhishek Bachchan will be playing the villain opposite Shah Rukh Khan for the first time as the two actors have previously worked together in Never Say Goodbye and Happy New Year.
A budget of 200 crores has been earmarked for the film ‘King’ and it is likely to hit the theaters by the end of 2025.
Shah Rukh Khan will also play an important role in the film and after three consecutive blockbuster films, King Khan’s new film will also be of international quality.
To make the film ‘King’ of international standard, Siddharth Anand has included several stunt directors from Hollywood in the team.
The shooting of ‘King’ will begin from November this year and it will be released in the second half of 2025.
