Before the start of this concert, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau also arrived at the Rogers Center where Diljit Dosanjh’s music concert was held.

It should be noted that relations between Canada and India have been strained since the murder of pro-Khalistan Sikh leader Hardeep Singh Najar in Canada. Indian intelligence agencies were involved in the killing of the Sikh leader.
Before his murder in June 2023, Hardeep Singh Nagar had addressed the Sikh community and said that if anything happened to them, the Indian government would be responsible.
