A bailable arrest warrant has been issued for former federal minister Fawad Chaudhry in the contempt of election commission case.
In the Election Commission, the contempt of Chief Election Commissioner and contempt of Election Commission case was heard against PTI founder Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhary.
Officials of the Election Commission said that there is no injunction in this case for founder PTI in the High Court. The case was last heard in the High Court in January. .
The PTI lawyer said that the Election Commission can ensure the virtual attendance of the respondent. Attendance is not necessary in civil cases, attendance is mandatory in criminal cases.
Assistant Advocate Founder PTI said that in the law of shahadat you can use technology, the court can allow virtual attendance.
The Member Election Commission said that Fawad Chaudhry is not in jail, they take out his warrant, the assistant lawyer said that the case of Fawad Chaudhry is going on in the High Court.
The Election Commission member said that Fawad Chaudhary’s presence in the High Court is not necessary. Later, the Election Commission issued a bailable arrest warrant for former Federal Minister Fawad Chaudhary and adjourned the hearing till August 7.
