Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has summoned former cricketers to Lahore for consultation on the captaincy of Babar Azam and the structure of domestic cricket.
According to media reports, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi will meet 30 to 35 international cricketers on Monday for Babar Azam’s captaincy for the national team and improvement in domestic cricket.
The suggestions are likely to be implemented after feedback on the domestic system from former cricketers.
Sources said that the cricketers will also be taken into confidence on the three new tournaments started in the name of Champions.
Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi said in an informal conversation with the media that head coach Gary Kirsten has submitted a report regarding the poor performance in the T20 World Cup, while no decision has been taken yet regarding the replacement of captain Babar Azam. The concerned former cricketers will decide.
