An important meeting was held between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Russian President Putin on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization meeting in Astana.
Speaking during the meeting, the Russian President said that two years ago we met in Samarkand on the occasion of the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Pakistan and Russia have excellent relations, bilateral relations have further improved due to trade links between the two countries.
He further said that we can increase our cooperation in the fields of energy and agriculture, we will also increase cooperation with Pakistan in the field of food security.
