ICC has released the new T20 ranking, Surya Kumar lost the first position, Travis Head and Rashid Khan’s big jump, Babar and Rizwan were demoted.
Australia’s Travis Head snatched the number one position in T20 from Indian batsman Surya Kumar Yadav, who moved up four places to the number one spot.
In the T20 format, Surya Kumar Yadav was the number one batsman since December 2023. Surya Kumar has moved to the second place in the batting ranking, England’s Phil Salt is on the third place.
Pakistan’s Babar Azam is fourth after being demoted by one rank, while Mohammad Rizwan is fifth after being demoted, West Indies’ Johnson Charles is 10th and Afghanistan’s Rehmanullah Garbaz is at 11th.
Among the T20 bowlers, England’s Adil Rashid is at the number one position, while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has moved up two places to the second position, Sri Lanka’s Wanandhu Hasaranga is third and Australia’s Josh Hazlewood is at the fourth position.
In the T20 all-rounders ranking, Sri Lanka’s Wanindu Hasaranga has returned to the number one position, while Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi has moved up two places to the second place, India’s Hardik Pandya is at the third place after four places.
