A delegation of 9 World Bank Executive Directors has arrived in Pakistan.
According to sources, the delegation will meet the Prime Minister, Finance Minister, and Economic Affairs Minister. The World Bank delegation will also meet the Minister of Planning and Energy. The meetings will discuss effective implementation of the $40 billion funding.
Sources say that this is the visit of the World Bank Executive Directors to Pakistan after 20 years. The strategy for effective implementation of the Country Partnership Framework will be discussed.
According to sources, the delegation will also visit the provinces to review development initiatives and formulate strategies. The delegation will visit Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, Punjab, and Balochistan.
