VANUATU: A 7.4-magnitude earthquake shook the Port Vila area of Vanuatu, after which a tsunami warning has been issued in the area.
According to the US Geological Survey (USGS), a 7.4-magnitude earthquake was felt in Vanuatu’s capital Port Vila on Tuesday.
According to the USGS, the epicenter of the earthquake was 10 kilometers below the ground.
In footage posted on social media, it can be seen that windows and concrete pillars have fallen on the building hosting foreign embassies in the capital.
According to the news agency, no casualties or property damage have been reported so far.
