Quetta: After the successful operation of the security forces after the Jafar Express attack, 60 more passengers were rescued and reached Quetta.
The passengers were brought to Quetta by bus under tight security, the rescued passengers include 45 passengers, 12 railway employees and 3 postal department employees.
The rescued passengers said that after the attack on the train, we understood that now we will die.
The passengers paid tribute to the Pakistan Army and FC soldiers due to whose successful operation they were rescued.
On the other hand, when the 12 railway employees reached Quetta Railway Station after the Jafar Express attack, emotional scenes were seen at the railway station on this occasion.
Their families and fellow staff welcomed them with flower petals, the railway employees and their families hugged each other and were overwhelmed with joy.
Providing details of the accident, Jafar Express driver Amjad Yasin said that while the Jafar Express was traveling, an explosion occurred on the first track, as a result of which the engine derailed.
He added that the number of attackers was 35 to 40 and all the railway staff members were safe. May God not allow anyone to experience the scene we saw there.
Amjad Yasin also said that our army took very active action and saved us through a successful operation.
Assistant driver Abdul Qadeer said that he is grateful to God for giving us a new life.
