Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has paid tribute to the courage, professionalism and spirit of sacrifice of the Pakistani armed forces on the occasion of the completion of 6 years of Operation Swift Retaliation.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in a statement that 6 years ago today, on February 27, 2019, the Pakistan Air Force gave a clear message to the enemy that Pakistan has the full capacity to protect its borders.
He said that by giving a befitting reply to India’s aggression in the region, our forces proved that our soldiers are always ready for the security of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that in Operation Swift Retaliation, the Pakistan Air Force gave a clear message to the enemy with its military capabilities and unwavering determination to protect the homeland that the Pakistani armed forces have the full capacity and capability to counter any kind of aggression for the security of the country.
He said that the Pakistani armed forces are always ready to protect the beloved homeland, the entire nation, including me, is proud of its brave forces, the Pakistani armed forces have made great sacrifices for the protection of the country, which the Pakistani nation can never forget.
He said that Pakistan has always strived to promote regional peace, but whenever an attempt was made to attack Pakistan’s national security and stability, the entire nation united like a leaden wall.
