Cases have been registered at 4 different places for making controversial statements by former First Lady Bushra Bibi. These cases have been registered under the Telegraph Act 1885.
Bushra Bibi, wife of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founding chairman Imran Khan, has been in trouble for making controversial statements about a friendly country.
4 cases have been registered against the former First Lady in Multan, Dera Ghazi Khan and Layyah, in which Bushra Bibi’s statement was termed as a conspiracy to damage Pakistan’s reputation and against Pak-Saudi relations.
A case was registered against Bushra Bibi on the request of a citizen named Jamal Khan in Dera Ghazi Khan. The case was registered under the Telegraph Act 1885.
The case filed on the complaint of Ghulam Yasin said that Bushra Bibi made a statement against the foreign policy of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which has damaged Pakistan’s reputation and is a well-planned conspiracy.
According to the text of the case, Bushra Bibi made a hateful statement to mislead people. The police say that action is being taken against the accused under Section 122 of the Telegraph Act and other laws.
A case was registered against Bushra Bibi at Qutubpur police station in Multan on the request of citizen Umair Maqsood. According to the FIR, Bushra Bibi tried to spread religious hatred by making allegations against Saudi Arabia and former General Bajwa.
A case has also been registered against Bushra Bibi at the City police station in Layyah. According to the case filed by Ashfaq Sohail, a resident of Eid Gah neighborhood, Bushra Bibi’s statement about the abolition of Sharia is against foreign policy and a conspiracy against the country.
It should be noted that in a video message released yesterday, Bushra Bibi had claimed that some foreign powers were unhappy with Imran Khan’s religious style of walking barefoot in Medina.
Bushra Bibi said that when Imran Khan went to Medina barefoot, General (retd) Bajwa started receiving phone calls on his return asking who brought him these.
On the other hand, former Army Chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa had termed the claims made by former First Lady Bushra Bibi regarding the alleged foreign conspiracy to overthrow her husband Imran Khan’s government as 100% lies and said that he did not understand what the problem was with this woman.
