In the third one-day match of the series played in Sharjah, Bangladesh won the toss and batted first and scored 244 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
Mahmudullah scored 98 runs for Bangladesh. Captain Mehdi Hasan Miraz 66, Soumya Sarkar 24, Tanzeed Hasan 19, Ruhid Haridoy 7, Naseem Ahmed 5, Zakir Hasan 4 and Jakar Ali 1 run out.
Shariful Islam was not out scoring 2 runs.
Azmatullah Omarzai took 4 wickets for Afghanistan. Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan took 1, 1 wicket.
In reply, Afghanistan chased down 245 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 48.2 overs.
Rahmanullah Garbaz scored 101 runs. Azmatullah Umarzai scored 70 runs and Muhammad Nabi scored 34 unbeaten runs and played a key role in the victory.
