STRASBOURG: Two trams collided at the central station in the French city of Strasbourg, injuring 50 people.
According to foreign media, some of the injured suffered minor injuries, while 100 people were checked in hospitals and none were in critical condition.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, but no information has yet been found about the causes of the accident.
According to local media, the accident occurred when one tram changed tracks and collided with another tram parked at the station.
It should be noted that Strasbourg was the first French city to restart tram service in 1994.
