Sana’a: The US military has said that it has attacked 15 locations in various cities controlled by the Houthis in Yemen, where civilians have confirmed explosions at military centers and airports.
According to the report of the foreign news agency Reuters, the Central Command, which oversees the US military in the Middle East, said that the locations that were targeted were the military capabilities of the Houthis, but did not specify whether there were missiles, drones or radars. The system was also involved.
The US Central Command said in a statement on social media website X that the attack on Yemen was carried out during the afternoon.
Al-Masira TV, the official Houthi broadcaster, and civilians said that airstrikes have been carried out in several areas, including Yemen’s capital Sana’a and Hodeidah Airport.
The citizens said that many centers of the Houthi army have been targeted in the attacks in Al Bayda province.
The Houthis have carried out nearly 100 attacks on ships passing through the Red Sea since November last year and are showing solidarity with the Palestinians, destroying two ships, capturing one ship and killing four people. Killed.
The U.S. has often been helpless in the face of Houthi attacks in the Red Sea, usually rebuffing Houthi drone and missile attacks and trying to secure its own ships.
