KARACHI: The “World Culture Festival Karachi” organized by Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi is going on smoothly.
On the 13th day of the festival, Theater “Cleve” was presented in Urdu language in Auditorium I. The play was by British theater director Jonathan Lane while directed by Farhan Alam Siddiqui and translated by Ruhi Fatima.
The cast of the drama included Fatima Adil, Hasan Alam, Ali Raza, Dalbood Rahim, Ajinesh Dodeja, Zobi Fatima, Arsalan Malik and Muhammad Asim.
The story of “Clue” revolves around a murder mystery. The classic board game is brought to life in “Clue,” in which six guests are invited to dinner by a mysterious host. They are given the assumed names of Colonel Mustard, Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Professor Plum, and Miss Scarlett. Although they are forbidden to divulge personal information to anyone else, it is soon revealed that everyone has been blackmailed by the host, then everyone is given a weapon and given the option to kill their blackmailer. Pay double or kill the innocent butler.
The evening that follows is filled with madness, humor, and murder, as each criminal becomes entangled in an attempt to find the killer.
The audience loved the unique story of the play and appreciated the wonderful performances.
