Instant messaging application WhatsApp is going to make a significant addition to the Status feature for its users.
The Meta subsidiary will soon introduce the facility to add music to Status for its users. This feature is currently being tested by certain beta users of Android and iOS versions.
This facility is already available to users on Meta’s subsidiary photo and video sharing platform Instagram, using which they can add music to their Stories.
According to WhatsApp Beta Info, the platform is currently working on the feature for Android users. This experimental feature is currently only available to users who have installed WhatsApp Beta Android 2.25.2.5 version and this feature will be released for Android users soon.
WhatsApp Beta Info has also hinted that the iOS Beta 25.1.10.73 update is going to introduce this same feature for iOS users.
