The 49-year-old Bollywood actress told in an interview how she maintains her health from her favorite exercise to her daily diet.
The actress admitted that she is a foodie but always prefers healthy food. Taking care of her rich diet, she keeps one day a week when she can eat anything like cake, kulfi, and gulab jamun, etc., but on the rest of the days she follows the principle of a healthy and balanced diet.
Shilpa said that her day starts with aloe vera juice, which is also good for the immune system and skin. After that, she consumes oatmeal and tea. Shilpa avoids white sugar as much as possible and uses only brown sugar. The actress advised to replace everything white with brown, be it brown bread, brown rice or brown sugar.
The actress’s daily diet is balanced and nutritious and includes very simple foods. She said that she does not eat steamed or boiled food, but eats normal food but cooks it in healthy vegetable oil or olive oil.
Talking about her balanced diet, Shilpa said that she eats dal, rice, chapati, chicken curry, and some vegetable for lunch. If she feels hungry in the evening, she has two eggs with brown toast and tea and tries to eat quickly for dinner.
She also said that I eat salad, soup and a chicken dish. My diet is very simple and easy to follow.
