Indian actress and model Urvashi Rautela has faced severe criticism on social media for her insensitive statement regarding the attack on Saif Ali Khan.
In an interview, she condemned the attack on Saif, but at the same time she also displayed her precious jewelry and started talking about her expensive diamond watch and rings while talking about Saif. After the video of this interview went viral, people called the actress’s behavior inappropriate and insensitive.
Urvashi later issued a statement apologizing for her words and said that she could not understand the seriousness of the situation initially. She said, ‘Saif Ali Khan sir, I am ashamed of my ignorance and insensitivity. Now that I understand the gravity of your case, I offer my heartfelt apologies and support.
It may be recalled that Saif Ali Khan was attacked by a man who broke into his house on Thursday morning, in which he suffered injuries to his neck and near his spine. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he is now out of danger after undergoing several surgeries.
