Doha: Thousands of mourners flocked to the mosque in Qatar’s capital for the funeral prayers of martyred Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, with tears in their eyes and determination to continue the struggle for Palestinian freedom.
According to the international news organization, after the Friday prayer, the funeral prayer of the son of Islam, Shaheed Ismail Haniya was performed. For which high-level delegations from all over the world also arrived.
The funeral prayers of Ismail Haniya and his bodyguard Waseem Abu Othman were held at the Grand Mosque of Imam Muhammad Bin Abdul Wahab in Doha, while burial was held at Al Wasil Cemetery.
On this occasion, there are only people as far as the eye can see, as if a flood of human beings has come. Mourners hold Palestinian flags and the air echoes with chants of Takbeer Allahu Akbar and the word of martyrdom.
All along the route, the participants with moist eyes paid tribute to Ismail Haniyeh who sacrificed his life for the rise of the Muslim Ummah and the liberation of Palestine from the oppression of the Zionist state.
