Washington: The United States has decided to lift the ban on arms sales to Saudi Arabia.
According to a foreign news agency, the US official said that the ban on air-to-ground weapons against Saudi Arabia is being lifted.
Arms sales to Saudi Arabia are likely to begin next week.
When US President Joe Biden assumed the US presidency, he adopted a harsh tone and style against the Gulf countries. It was included as a major foreign policy initiative of the Biden administration.
President Joe Biden also withdrew the decision to declare Iran-backed Yemeni Houthis as terrorists. Although the Arab countries opposed this decision and stopped the sale of offensive weapons to Saudi Arabia.
