The core committee of Tehreek-e-Insaf opposed any kind of operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The emergency meeting of the core committee was attended by important leaders including the Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, the members of the core committee opposed the operation.
While giving a briefing for more than an hour, the Chief Minister presented his position on the operation related to terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa before the committee.
The Chief Minister said that no decision was taken regarding the operation in any meeting, if any decision was taken regarding the operation, then the minutes of the meeting should be brought forward.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cannot afford another operation, facts should be discussed instead of spreading false propaganda. If I decide on the operation, I will first inform the core committee.
He further said that he will meet the founder PTI on the matter, the core committee expressed confidence in Ali Amin Gandapur.
