The Taliban government inaugurated a 9-story commercial center in the center of Kabul.
According to Afghan media, commercial, economic and financial activities have begun in Kabul, which has been ravaged by war for decades.
The Taliban government surprised everyone by building a multi-story commercial building in less than three years.
The commercial center, built at a cost of $ 34 million, has more than 1,300 shops. There is a parking space for more than 1,800 vehicles and there is also a large mosque.
Taliban officials said that the land for this project was provided by the state, while it was built by the Sun Sky Global Company.
30 percent of the income from this project will be given to Taliban officials and 70 percent to investors.
Abdul Wasi Khadim, Chief of Staff of the Taliban Prime Minister’s Office, said that the commercial center also has designated spaces for banks, currency exchange offices and other business establishments.
It should be noted that the Taliban government also intends to establish a modern oil refinery of international standards, with an initial investment of $25 million and its volume increasing to $35 million.
