Taking timely action on the notice of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Islamabad Police arrested an accused who snatched mobile phones from Saudi citizens from Sector F8.
The police arrested the accused within 12 hours and recovered both mobile phones. Further investigation of the arrested accused is going on and raids are being conducted to arrest other accused.
Islamabad Police traced the accused through mobile technology, cameras and human intelligence. IG Islamabad Police Ali Nasir Rizvi and DIG Ali Raza went to the Saudi Embassy and handed over the recovered mobile phones to the concerned authorities.
