Karachi: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori has made a big announcement for overseas Pakistanis in the UK.
Addressing overseas Pakistanis at Birmingham’s Jamia Masjid, Kamran Tesori said that under the Governor’s Initiative, centers will be opened across the UK through which help will be provided in solving the problems faced by people living in Sindh.
Appreciating the services of overseas Pakistanis, the Sindh Governor said that they have given new strength to the country’s economy by sending record foreign exchange and they play an important role in the economy of their homeland. Pakistanis living in the UK have served the country a lot and I am here to serve them.
He further said that ordinary citizens of Pakistan have reached the highest political positions in the UK and the children of bus drivers have set examples by becoming MPs.
Referring to Sadiq Khan, he said that it is a miracle for an ordinary citizen to become the mayor of London three times in a row. The Sindh Governor said that Pakistanis living in the UK have served the country a lot and they are always ready to serve it.
He said that the Pakistani and Kashmiri communities are ambassadors of Pakistan, they should abide by the law and make their identity proud. He discouraged the spreading of news on social media without verification, saying that this is neither a sign of a civilized society nor does Islam allow it.
During his address at the Jamia Mosque in Birmingham, the Sindh Governor emphasized on unity and highlighting a positive image and offered special prayers for the prosperity of the country.
