ISLAMABAD: A meeting was held in the Ministry of Interior regarding preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit under the chairmanship of Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in which a detailed review of security arrangements was conducted.
In the meeting, an action plan was approved to ensure foolproof security on the occasion of the summit. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that holding the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Pakistan this month is very important, many heads of state are participating in the summit.
He said that holding the international conference in Pakistan is an honor for the entire nation. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi clarified that on the occasion of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, fool-proof arrangements will be ensured at all levels and on the occasion of the SCO conference, Islamabad will be beautified and special cleaning arrangements will be made. .
Meanwhile, before the Shanghai Cooperation Organization conference in mid-October, a review meeting of CPEC projects was held under the chairmanship of Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, in which secretaries and additional secretaries of all relevant ministries participated. A briefing was given on the progress and emphasis was placed on increasing cooperation in various fields and preparing an action plan in view of the expected visit of the Prime Minister of China.
