Famous actor Saif Ali Khan of the Indian film industry has revealed the details of the dangerous attack on his house to the police for the first time.
Saif said that the incident took place between 2:30 and 2:40 on the night of January 16, when he was on the 12th floor with his wife Kareena Kapoor. Hearing his son J crying, he came out of the room. Upon reaching the 11th floor, he saw J’s nurse talking loudly to a stranger.
Saif said that the attacker had a knife in his hand and feeling threatened, he tried to catch him, but he attacked him with the knife. Saif suffered deep wounds on his neck, back and hands, while his son was taken out of the room by the nurse during the attack.
Saif added that they somehow locked the attacker in the room, but he managed to escape. Injured, Saif was taken to a nearby hospital by rickshaw, where he underwent surgery and a 2.5-inch piece of the knife was removed from near his spine.
Saif was discharged after six days in the hospital. It should be noted that this incident occurred during a failed robbery attempt at his Bandra house in Mumbai.
