US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller has said that PTI activists are appealed to refrain from peaceful protests and violence.
Speaking during a news briefing in Washington, Matthew Miller said that while maintaining peace and order, respect for Pakistan’s laws and constitution should be ensured.
The US spokesperson said that Pakistani authorities are appealed to respect human rights and fundamental freedoms.
He added that we support freedom of expression and peaceful protests in every country around the world, including Pakistan. We are never in favor of violent protests.
