New York: Ambassadors of Arab countries in the United Nations held a closed-door meeting with the Secretary General, after which Palestine demanded the expulsion of Israel from the United Nations General Assembly.
According to the Arab media, considering the bombing and the current situation in Gaza, the ambassador said that there is a fear of mass genocide in northern Gaza.
After the meeting, Palestinian delegate Riyad Mansour said that if Israel declares northern Gaza as a military zone, Palestinian lives may be lost on a large scale. He demanded an immediate ceasefire from the Security Council.
The Palestinian representative said that the Security Council is the only institution that can enforce its decision and that a country that does not abide by international organizations and international laws has no right to be in the General Assembly.
