Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed special preparations for Hajj 2025 and said that pilgrims are guests of Allah, I will not accept any negligence in serving them.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif chaired a review meeting regarding preparations for Hajj 2025.
Federal Ministers Ahad Khan Cheema, Chaudhry Salik Hussain and relevant senior officials attended the meeting. The meeting was also informed about the progress on the Hajj Fund and it was informed that the work on it is in the final stages.
The meeting was informed that like last year, SIM cards will be provided to the pilgrims this year too from Pakistan and the Hajj mobile application is also active to assist the pilgrims.
The Prime Minister was given a detailed briefing on the preparations for Hajj 2025 in the meeting.
Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister said that no negligence is acceptable in the preparation of Hajj 2025, all kinds of assistance and facilities should be ensured to the pilgrims, a comprehensive briefing regarding the preparations for Hajj should be prepared and presented in the next few days.
The Prime Minister said that the pilgrims should be provided with the best training facilities regarding Hajj 2025, the Prime Minister directed to appoint competent officers of good reputation on Hajj duty.
The Prime Minister said that the pilgrims are the guests of Allah, I will not accept any negligence on the part of the government in serving and assisting them.
The Prime Minister directed to take special care of the accommodation, travel and other facilities of the pilgrims and said that transparency and merit should be kept in mind in the selection process of assistants for the pilgrims.
