Islamabad: The Supreme Court has launched an online feedback form seeking suggestions from the public for judicial reforms.
An important meeting was held in the Supreme Court under the chairmanship of Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi on the ongoing reforms to expand access to justice, in which Supreme Court Bar Representative Muhammad Aurangzeb Khan, Registrar Saleem Khan, Development Expert Sher Shah and other team members participated.
The agenda of the meeting was to review the progress in key reform areas, including improvement in case management, human resources, training programs and establishment of a feedback mechanism to involve stakeholders including the public.
The Chief Justice emphasized that these reforms are aimed at bringing about change at all levels of the judiciary. These reforms will be implemented from the Supreme Court to the subordinate courts.
Recognizing the important role of practical involvement and cooperation, he highlighted the importance of collecting feedback from judges, lawyers, litigants and citizens.
As part of the reform initiatives, the Chief Justice was briefed about the recently launched “Online Feedback Form” which is now available on the official website of the Supreme Court. It can be accessed through https://scp.gov.pk/Feedback.aspx.
The Chief Justice expressed satisfaction over the progress made in the reform areas and appreciated the dedication and efforts of the team in taking these initiatives forward.
