DG ISPR denies Indian claims on Pahalgam attack, urges evidence-based probe. Pakistan reveals India’s ambitions and cross-border terrorist connections.
DG ISPR: India Accuses Without Proof
On Tuesday, the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR), Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, said that India has not shared any proof to back its allegations against Pakistan. These allegations are related to the Pahalgam attack that took place on April 22 in Indian-occupied Kashmir. The attack killed 26 people, mostly tourists, making it one of the deadliest civilian attacks in the region since 2000.
India blamed Pakistan for supporting the attackers but did not provide any evidence. Pakistan has strongly denied these claims. To uncover the facts, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has demanded an unbiased inquiry by global specialists.
Kashmir Resistance Group Denies Involvement:
After the attack, a group known as the Resistance Front was linked to it. However, they later denied involvement, saying their earlier statement claiming responsibility was false.
Even after several days, India has not shared any proof that could show Pakistan was involved. DG ISPR made it clear that Pakistan will not accept baseless accusations without evidence.
India Involved in Cross-Border Terrorism:
Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry stated that India has been found supporting terrorism inside Pakistan. He said India is not only targeting the Pakistani military but also innocent civilians by using explosives and IEDs (improvised explosive devices). This evidence is only a small part of what Pakistan has collected about India’s state-sponsored terrorism.
Recent Arrest Reveals Indian Role:
On April 25, Pakistan arrested a man near the Jhelum bus stand. He was a Pakistani citizen trained and funded by India. When arrested, he had
- One IED
- Two mobile phones
- Rs70,000 in cash
Later, authorities also found an Indian drone and Rs1 million in cash in his house. A forensic test of the materials recovered showed clear proof that could be verified by any independent agency. This included communication records and planning details directly linking the attacker to Indian army officers.
Indian Army Officers Behind Terror Activities:
DG ISPR revealed the names of Indian officers involved in terrorism in Pakistan:
- Major Sandeep Verma (alias Sameer): Commanding officer and main handler
- Subedar Sukvinder (alias Sikander)
- Havildar Amit (alias Adil Aman)
- One more unidentified soldier
He said these officers worked together to plan and carry out terrorist attacks inside Pakistan using drones and local recruits.
Leaked Audio Clip Provides Solid Proof:
During the press briefing, DG ISPR shared an audio recording. It was a conversation between Major Sandeep Verma and a terrorist named Abdul Majeed. In the audio, the Indian officer discusses how they carry out terrorism from Balochistan to Lahore and how they send money for these missions. DG ISPR said this audio is solid and undeniable proof of India’s state-sponsored terrorism. He said this was just one example of many terror cells India runs inside Pakistan.
Indian Terrorist Was Planning More Attacks:
The arrested terrorist had already carried out four IED attacks. These bombs were sent using drones. DG ISPR confirmed that the fourth attack was planned after the Pahalgam incident. The attacker had been instructed to collect an IED near Nadala on April 22, and he was told to carry out the attack the next day at a busy bus stand. Thanks to the timely action by Pakistan’s security forces, the terrorist was caught on April 25 before he could execute the plan.
India’s Terror Moves After Pahalgam Incident:
DG ISPR added that after the Pahalgam incident, India activated all its terror networks inside Pakistan. This included
- Terrorists operating in Balochistan
- Fitna-al-Khawarij cells, another name for the outlawed TTP group
- Other independent sleeper cells
He said security forces are staying alert and successfully countering these threats.
Recent Anti-Terror Operation:
He informed the media that two nights ago, 54 terrorists trying to enter Pakistan from Afghanistan were killed by Pakistan’s army in North Waziristan. In total, 71 terrorists were killed during this operation. These results show Pakistan’s strong efforts to stop terrorism and protect its people.
Indian Drone Shot Down Near Loc:
An Indian drone was shot down by Pakistan’s army close to the Line of Control (Loc) in Azad Jammu and Kashmir on the same day as the press conference. For the fifth night in a row, Indian and Pakistani forces exchanged gunfire. This ended four years of relative peace along the border.
India’s Hand in Jaffer Express Attack:
In another major update, Pakistan’s mission to the United Nations shared proof that the March 11 Jaffer Express train attack was also sponsored by India. The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked a passenger train carrying 440 people. They grabbed hostages after attacking the train.
Pakistan’s army started a rescue operation that lasted two days. No passengers were hurt, and all 33 terrorists had been neutralized by March 12. DG ISPR said the attack was well-planned by India, and Pakistan has solid proof of this involvement.
Pakistan Seeks Truth:
According to Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Pakistan is not scared to face reality. However, India must also come forward with actual evidence if it wants to blame Pakistan. Making baseless allegations without proof is unfair and dangerous.
Pakistan continues to defend its land and people and will take strong action against any terrorism, whether local or foreign-backed. The world should see who is truly working for peace and who is trying to spread violence and lies.
