Peshawar: Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has said that Afghans are ready to support negotiations with the Taliban. Military operations are not a solution to any problem.
Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman while addressing the Tribal Peace Jirga in Peshawar said that military operations are not a solution to any problem. The government of Pakistan should sit down and negotiate with Afghanistan and resolve the issues through dialogue.
He said that if the government is not satisfied, then the Afghans are ready to support the negotiations with the Taliban. Afghan Taliban should not allow their territory to be used for terrorism. And stop the atmosphere of unrest.
Hafiz Naeemur Rehman said that the Afghan Taliban and the government of Pakistan have no solution except dialogue. America promoted terrorism in tribal areas. If every institution is run within its constitutional limits, the problems will be solved.
He said that tribal issues should be resolved and Jirga should be established at the government level. Tribal areas should provide education, health and employment.
