According to Dr Muzna Arif, an endocrinologist at the Aga Khan University Hospital, fast food is associated with various problems related to early puberty and pregnancy.
Doctors say that junk food affects the entire body, not just weight, but heart and brain health, skin and even memory. One of the reasons for the rapid increase in heart diseases among young people is the consumption of fast food. Junk food-related weight gain causes hormonal changes that affect the reproductive system, ovaries, uterus, menstruation and sexual fertility.
